CHICANE - Offshore (chronovisor mix)

Sometimes I wonder how much good music I got on my hard drives. And folks, you are lucky, because I go through a creative phase, and therefore I present you the today's tune. It was brought to the world of music by the English own Nicolas Bracegirdle in a time, when so called ambient music was up to date. At least he did it well, it's a remarkable song of the aera, and I did (and still do) like it very much.
So, because of my creative phase, it was time for me to mix it up, ey? ;-) I did it from the original version and from the Disco Citizens Remix. I just hope you'll ENJOY! Floyd Anderson.

PERCY FAITH ORCHESTRA - Theme from ''A Summer Place'' (Dodi's crossover mix)

Little bit different than my usual extendeds. Fantastic, everlasting melody which reminds me on best things from my childhood. Beautiful lullaby for my little daughter...and excellent stress remover for myself.

LEE MARROW - Sayonara (Don't Stop...) (chronovisor mix)

Folks, when you want to find something, don't search for it, just let it find YOU! I looked after a song which I wanted to mix, but I couldn't find it by searching. But while searching for it, I found something completely different, which I searched for so long! And that all is not only so in music! Man, man, man...
That's why today is Italo-Disco day. The sound of the Yamaha DX-7 keyboard did fascinating me since I heard it for the first time, and in that special version of the today's tune it comes out so clearly. I searched it for so long, and while not searching it, I found it...
I just gave it a nice lenght giving everyone a chance for an easy listening. So, just ENJOY! Floyd Anderson.

GEORG DANZER - Weisse Pferde (chronovisor mix)

Ich traeumte von weissen Pferden,
wilden, weissen Pferden an einem Strand.
Ich lag mitten zwischen den Sternen,
sah das Gesicht einer Wahrsagerin.

Ich glaube an die Kartenspiele
und an meinen Vorstadtkinderinstinkt,
mehr als an die Reden der Vorsitzenden,
Nachsitzender, der ich in der Schule war.

Aber, sag' mir woran,
woran meine Liebe, glauben wir noch?
Woran meine Liebe, glauben wir noch?
Woran meine Liebe, glauben wir noch?

Algo se muere en el alma
quando un amigo se va
no me dejes aqui, mi amor
no te vayas toda via.

Ich traeumte von weissen Pferden,
wilden, weissen Pferden an einem Strand.
Mein Lehrer war ein Vogel,
brachte mir das Fliegen bei.

Aber, sag' mir woran,
woran meine Liebe, glauben wir noch?
Woran meine Liebe, glauben wir noch?
Woran meine Liebe, glauben wir noch?

Ich traeumte von weissen Pferden,
wilden, weissen Pferden an einem Strand.

Amy Winehouse feat. Eric B and Rakim - Love Is A Losing Rap

I made an instrumental of the 'Kardinal Beats Remix' of the Winehouse track and then threw it together with the Eric B & Rakim track to make a nice uplifting summer tune:

Was (Not Was) Mini-Megamix

Here's a mini-megamix containing three fantastic tracks from Was (Not Was):

Listen Like Thieves (Giant Club Mix)
Shake Your Head (Extended Mix)
Papa Was A Rolling Stone (Richie Rich Remix)

I really enjoyed working on this as I absolutely LOVE all three tracks (these particular remixes anyway) that I used. It was a real joy to put these together - hope you like it as much as I enjoyed making it....

Talk Talk vs No Doubt - It's My Life (Cygnet Mix)

Finally I manage to create a mix again. More of a combination of two different versions of the same song - It's My Life, originally by Talk Talk and in more recent years covered by No Doubt. Enjoy!

Greetings...

Howdy everyone - I'm very happy to have wangled myself an invitation from Chronovisor to contribute to this fantastic blog . I feel very honoured - thank you guys! I hope I can do it justice...

Anyway - to celebrate my first post, I thought I would share with you a remix that I made a couple of months back. I always loved both of these tracks so I somehow managed to shoe-horn them together but I hope you'll like the end result...

Cheers, neiltomo

MILES DAVIS - Red China Blues (chronovisor mix)

Today I have the big honour to present you a fabulous musician, who had probably the most influence in my life since I know his music (which only begun to me in 1983).
The tune was the first in a row of the so-called Columbia Studio E recording sessions, which started in 1972 and ended with his mid-70s-retirement in 1976. One year earlier he played his last concert in Japan. His retirement because of abusing drugs and being sick should last at least 5 years, rather he did rise again like the Phoenix from the cinder.
The today's track is a very fine blues he recorded on March 9, 1972. Interestingly he didn't release it immediatly, but 2 years later on his last studio album of the 70s 'Getting Up With it'. For me it's just a pity that he didn't release some more songs of this genre, but I'm happy with that one anyway. I myself just stretched it, and, my gosh, it wasn't too easy finding a way making the song as easy listening as it is at least. Just.....
ENJOY! Floyd Anderson.

Here is the info:

The performers:
MILES DAVIS: electric trumpet
WALLY CHAMBERS: harmonica
CORNELL DUPREE: electric guitar
MICHAEL HENDERSON: electric bass guitar
BERNARD PURDIE: drums
AL FOSTER: drums
JAMES 'MTUME' FOREMAN: percussions
WADE MARCUS: brass arrangements (the brass players are not known)
BILLY JACKSON: rhythm arrangements
