The B-52's - Roam [McDoC Evo-XR Mix]

Running Time: 11:58

Addictive... this is what I can say about hits coming from this group. They have a winning formula that their fans never get tired of. I've combined the Instrumental, 7" Remix, Radio Mix, 12" Remix, LP Version, and the Extended Remix to come up with this re-edit. I highly recommend this one as it surely gets you in the groove! Enjoy!!!

Thanks to BLACK@DJ and Magic Juan DJ.

THE POLICE - Wrapped Around Your Finger [McDoC Evo-XR Mix]

Running Time: 10:19

The song is a tale of an apprentice who seeks esoteric wisdom under the tutelage of an erotic teacher, eventually superseding the mentor to become the master. Like other Police songs from this period, it features mythological and literary references, notably to the the Scylla and Charybdis monsters of Greek mythology, and the German legend of Faust. It has a relatively slow, almost foreboding feel in the beginning verses, modulating to evoke a lighter, triumphant feel as the student achieves mastery. [Wikipedia]

One of the best bands ever. As a kid, I remember being totally enthralled by "Wrapped Around Your Finger" when I watched the music video for the very first time. It easily became one of my favorites among the band's releases. Up to this day, I never get tired as the music sets off an eerie environment where everything around me just seems to be on a standstill. Well, I decided to stretch it out some more and so here it is.

Home by the Sea is a suite of two songs by English progressive rock band Genesis. It first appeared on their eponymous album in 1983. Lyrically, the song is about a burglar who breaks into a house only to find it is haunted. The burglar is captured by the ghosts who force him to listen to their stories for the rest of his life - "let us relive our lives in what we tell you".

THREE O'CLOCK - On Paper
[McDoC Evo-XR Mix]

Running Time: 6:01

In 1988, Three O'Clock made their last album "Vermillion" under Prince's Paisley Park Records. While their previous albums brought minor success to the band, even with the inclusion of a Prince-penned upbeat song "Neon Telephone" (under the pseudonym "Joey Coco") , the Ian Richie-produced album failed to chart. It's been described as a kind of bubblegummy-pop, and was somewhat a deviation from the psychedelic rock sound that their fans were used to. However, the 7th track from the album -- "On Paper" has been a personal favorite and an Evo-XR treatment was already in the works since last year but the early versions were not up to my liking. It was only a few weeks ago that I've come to finalize my re-edit... and here it is. Enjoy!

(The acoustic guitar intro bit was by a band called Cherry Cornflakes)

PAUL HARDCASTLE - Rain Forest
(chronovisor mix v3.0)

The todays posting is about tradition.

It's about my tradition on this special day to post a PAUL HARDCASTLE tune. Luckily I found a third version of this fantastic instrumental song, which I decided to post two years ago as my first mix on chronovisor.blog.

Now - will that tradition continue? I don't know, and thank God I have one more year to think about it. ;-)

ENJOY! Floyd Anderson.
